Inspiring Young Hearts: The Best Children's Books on St. Francis of Assisi


The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is coming up on October 4th. St. Francis of Assisi holds a special place in Christian history. St. Francis of Assisi is known for his radical love for God, giving away everything that he had to live in poverty and to serve those in need. He is also known for his love for all God's creations. His unwavering faith and love for Jesus have made him an enduring symbol of devotion.


One of my favorite ways to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is with children's books on St. Francis. Reading books about the saints is such an easy and fun way to help our children learn about our faith's heroes. They are a powerful teaching tool to help children understand who the saints were and why they are important.


Today I am sharing some of my favorite books about St. Francis. I hope they are a blessing!
