Happy first day of August!
This is an exciting month in the Liturgical Year; we are still moving through the season of Ordinary Time, the longest season of the Church Year. We start with The Transfiguration where we marvel at the meeting of heaven and earth in the body of Jesus and we end by celebrating St. Bartholomew's Day, honoring a faithful disciple of Jesus.
